Aging Painted Surfaces
Painting inside the toilet?

We have three toilets, all the same make and age, but one has rusted right where the water sits in the cup. I can feel that the surface is hard when cleaning. I have tried all sorts of ways to clean it, but I'm pretty sure that the paint was wearing off. It also has a metallic odor, as rust. Can you empty the container and repaint w / porcelain painting? It is well needs to be repaired or replaced (the most expensive option). The bowl is a whole rusty brown color w / a strong musty odor. It smells, looks dirty / unhealthy and difficult to clean. My husband calls it the bath trucks "stop." Who want to see (and smell) what? I will try some of these suggstions, but the bathroom is only 3 years, so how do prevetn happen again? .. our other well. could have soemthing wrong w / the water than the same one? Bacteria? Yuk!

Are you sure it's the painting? I think they are made of porcelain, if I'm right. If so, you can get a small bar that looks like concrete in a concrete block to use it. This is known as a pumice stone. Only used wet and porcelain. Use rubber gloves and grab the bar stuck under water in the toilet. Rub the inside of the toilet and must have the raw material, damaged before. You can also pour a can or a bottle or two of any soda in the toilet during the night.
